The PCIe switch firmware update cannot execute in iDRAC or other out of band mechanisms. The DUP package MUST be executed through the Windows or Linux OS.
Updating PCIe Switch firmware using DUP via Windows or Linux ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Copy the DUP package for this component to the Host system. Login to the Host Windows or Linux Machine as root. On the command-line execute the DUP. The files will take some time to upload to PCIe Switch devices on the system.
