DW5825e Firmware Update Instructions (Ubuntu 22.04)
Note: The operating system must be the Dell factory pre-installed Ubuntu 22.04 operating system.
Installation
1. Update the Ubuntu OS to the latest version to ensure the latest DW5825e firmware update utility is available.
$sudo apt update
$sudo apt upgrade
$sudo reboot
2. Install the DW5825e firmware package.
$sudo dpkg install fibocom-firmware_1.0.11_amd64.deb
3. After installation, a window will appear to show the firmware upgrade progress.
4. Once the DW5825e firmware update is complete, reboot the system to apply the changes.
Note: The operating system must be the Dell factory pre-installed Ubuntu 22.04 operating system.
