Dell PowerVault 110T DLT VS160, A11 Firmware Update Package

AUTO INSTALLED This file was automatically installed as part of a recent update. If you are experiencing any issues, you can manually download and reinstall.
This release includes new firmware for the VS160 Tape Drive. This will replace any previous releases. Firmware will update to version 2C00 (v44). This release includes DFU and DUP.

The DFU utility is used to flash the firmware for Windows, Linux, and Netware one drive at a time.

The DUP (Dell Update package) utility is used to automatically update all supported tape devices at once with minimum user interaction.

This version of FW addresses several conditions which can lead to a stuck tape scenario. This version of FW allows for a retry then automatic ejection of media if there are issues encountered during the loading process.

Enhancements:
This release includes 2 tools to upgrade firmware.
1. DFU - Drive Firmware Utility - will allow users to update a drive one at a time. Supported on Windows, Linux, and Netware.

2. DUP - Dell Update Package - will allow users to update all tape drives at once with minimum interaction. This can be scripted into tools such as SMS and script files. Supported on Windows and Linux only.

Install Instructions - External:
Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with HTML Pop-Up Window

Download
1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save this program to
disk (Windows XP users, click Save) and click OK. The Save In: window
appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
name icon appears on your desktop.

Install
1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop
The Self-Extractor window appears.
2.Click OK or Continue.
The Self-Extracting Driver Installation window appears and prompts to
extract files to C:\DELL\DRIVERS
3.Leave all of the default settings and click Unzip or OK. If the
directory doesn't exist, you'll be prompted to create one. Click Yes. A
Self Extractor window appears and indicates C:\DELL\DRIVERS files were
extracted.
4.Click OK.
Follow theon-screen installation instructions in the window.
