Intel Solid State Drive Firmware Update for SSDPEKKF256G8/SSDPEKKF512G8/SSDPEKKF010T8

- Ensure that you back up your data before performing this update. Do not interrupt your system during the firmware upgrade process. If the firmware upgrade process is interrupted, the solid state drive may not function properly.
- SSD firmware updates take no more than 10 seconds to be installed on your system. You can install the updates in the background while using the system.

Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility

Note 1: Before updating this firmware, ensure that you back up the data in the system and close all open applications. It is also recommended to connect the power cable when it is not a desktop and disconnect all external storage devices.
Note 2: Your system requires a restart after installing the firmware.

Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When download is complete, run the downloaded file to unzip to your drive.
3. The file explorer opens pointing to the directory containing the download package. Take note of the path.

Upgrade Procedure
1. Close all open applications and save your work before the firmware update process.
2. Go to the location where you have downloaded the package.
3. Run irmfuu_dell_7.1.25_win64 as administrator.
A command prompt interface is displayed. Wait for the update to take place.
4. After the command prompt window closes, reboot your system to complete the installation.
