Updating CM firmware ------------------------------ You can update the CM firmware through iDRAC by using the DUP package or the RACADM utility. The DUP package MUST be executed through the iDRAC GUI. It cannot execute in the host OS. You can use local RACADM, remote RACADM, or firmware RACADM.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Updating CM firmware using DUP via iDRAC GUI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Login to the local iDRAC web page as root. Copy the DUP package for this component to your local system. Browse to Maintenance, System Update, Manual Update. Set Location Type: Local. Set Update Path to the local file path to the DUP package. (Click Browse to locate) Click Upload The file will take some time to upload to the iDRAC. When complete check the box next to the File name and click the Install button.
