The web user interface of Dell's 2335dn, Multifunction Laser Printer firmware versions prior to A13 is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Attackers could potentially exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary HTML or JavaScript code in the user's browser session in the context of the affected website.

Installation instructions

"Note: Do not shut down the computer or printer while performing the firmware update.

Instructions:
1. Run ""Dell Printer Update Tool.exe"".
2. Verify the printer model and click [Next]
3. Select the I/O connection type and click [Next]
4. If the printer is on a Network connection, then enter the IP Address and click [Next]
5. Monitor and wait for the firmware update to complete
6. Click [Finish] to close the tool."
