Install instructions

1. Via Embedded Web Server (EWS) - Only for Network Connected printers

1. Download and extract the zip file which contains the Dell_5330dn_Vx.xx.xx.xx.hd file
2. Launch web browser and type in IP address of the printer.
3. Click "Login" on the upper right of the Embedded Web Server web page.
4. Type in the ID and Password then click "Login".
5. Select "Maintenance" tab.
6. Check the "System Firmware Version" to ensure that you are updating the right firmware version.
7. Select "Upgrade Wizard".
8. Click the "Browse" button and locate the Dell_5330dn_Vx.xx.xx.xx.hd file.
9. Click "Next" button to begin upgrading firmware.



2. Via firmware update utility tool

1. Download and extract the zip file which contain the Dell_5330dn_Vx.xx.xx.xx.hd file.
2. From your PC, locate the firmware update utility tool from Start->All Programs->Dell Printers->Dell 5330dn Mono Laser->Firmware Update Utility.
3. Select USB/Network Printer (as per connectivity to the printer).
4. Click the "Browse" button and locate the Dell_5330dn_Vx.xx.xx.xx.hd file.
5. Select the printer to be flashed.
6. Click "Update Firmware" button to begin upgrading firmware.
