BIOS Update Executable for Wyse 3040 Thin Client
Download the BIOS file:
1. Click Download File.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Updating BIOS using Wyse Management Suite v1.4:
1. Copy the .cab file to repository (C:\WMS\Local Repo\repository\thinclientapps) on the Wyse Management Suite server.
2. Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
3. Click Portal Administration, and then click File Repository under Console Settings. Select the Local Repository check box and Click Sync Files.
4. Click Apps and Data and verify the copied package in the applications list.
5. Create a group in the Wyse Management Suite server, and click Groups & Configs.
6. Click the Plus sign (+) button, and register your client in the same group.
7. Click Apps and Data.
8. Click Thin Clients under App Policies.
9. Click Add Policy to add the policy to the required group.
10. Update the required fields, and click Save.
11. Click Schedule App Policy and update the required fields to schedule the policy.
12. Click Update Now on the client.
13. Monitor the status on the Jobs page to ensure that the package installation is successful.
14. Restart the thin client.
BIOS upgrade page is displayed and BIOS is successfully updated on your thin client.
