This package contains the driver for Dell Wireless 5811e LTE Mobile Broadband and GPS. The package is supported on Latitude, Precision and Venue Pro series systems that run Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems. The package fixes the issue where driver crashes when airplane mode is toggled several times. The package fixes OEM PRI update failure issue and fixes the image switch failure issue caused by incorrect location of firmware images.
On Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 Microsoft Inbox driver for Mobile broadband card is present by design. But to enable Mobile Broadband function and GPS, the Dell driver package is needed.
