Fixes & Enhancements
The following changes have been made to the A07 to create the A08:
1. Added support for new Pentium 4 processors.
2. Fixed Quick Boot menu when no bootable drives are selected in SETUP.
3. Fix to the utility partition search code.
4. Improved keyboard test when booting from Hibernate.
5. Fixed possible hang after unplugging and re-plugging USB hubs.
6. Increased USB keyboard wait time to allow all USB devices being enumerated.
7. PXE Code Update.
8. Prevent false MCE errors from causing "bad CPU" error in POST.
9. Fix the Performance Processor detection/enabling.
10. Added error check for 1394 memory base programming.
13. Disable /Enable PCI transaction timeout timer for slow PCI cards.
14. Fixed potential Memory Size Change Error on startup.

Download:
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link to accept the agreement.
3. When the file Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Flashing the BIOS:
1. Browse the location where you have downloaded the file and double click the new file to run the BIOS flash program.
2. The BIOS flash utility window appears, click continue.
3. When the BIOS flash utility has completed you will be prompted to restart you computer. Click Yes.
4. BIOS flash Compete.

Disk Creation:
1. Browse the location where you downloaded the file and double click the new file to create the diskette set.
2. Insert a blank diskette then click Continue.
3. When prompted, repeat step 2 until you reach the end of the diskette set. Label each diskette with a disk number starting from 1.
4. After all the files have been copied to the last diskette, click Finish.
Installation:
1. Insert the first (or the only) disk of the set into the floppy drive.
2. Click Start, click Shutdown, click Restart, and the click OK.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to upzip the files.
4. Click on the OK button to extract files.
5. After a few seconds a dialog box will appear that says that all files were successfully unzipped. Click OK to exit from the installer.
Installation:
1. A window will open with all files extracted.
2. Double click on the PE400A08.EXE
3. A window will appear click continue.
4. When the BIOS Flash Utility completes click Yes or reboot to restart your computer.
