This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
By running this tool, you may lose hard drive data. This tool changes what drives are seen by what nodes. It is very likely that you will have to rebuild RAID arrays. Do not risk data unless you are certain that you know what you are doing.
Controller setup: If HDD controller is LSI2008, proceed directly to zoning step. If HDD controller is H330 or H730 change controller to HBA mode before zoning step. The controller can be changed to HBA mode by the following command using CLI: perccli /cx set personality=HBA
If needed, to verify the current setting run the following command: perccli /cx show personality
Zoning Step: PEC_C6300_UTL_V1.4.exe -f 2 12 12
Reset controller configuration: If HDD controller is LSI2008, then zoning process is complete. If HDD controller is H330 or H730 restore controller to RAID mode using the following command: perccli /cx set personality=raid
