Fixes & Enhancements
Improved DDR4 Memory settings to prevent critical DDR4 memory errors that may result in controller hang conditions, including Single Bit Errors (SBE) and Multi Bit Errors (MBE).
Important Note: After the firmware update, it is crucial to perform a complete graceful shutdown to power off the system, followed by a power on to enable the new memory settings. A warm reboot will NOT activate the updated settings. If iDrac/LC is used to perform the update, a graceful shutdown to power off after the update is still required.
Dell Technologies highly recommends applying this important update as soon as possible. The update contains critical bug fixes and changes to improve functionality, reliability, and stability of your Dell system. It may also include security fixes and other feature enhancements.
