After installing this package, ensure to complete the following steps:

1. Disable Power Management of the u-blox Universal GNSS device in the Device Manager.
a. Open the u-blox Universal GNSS in the Device Manager.
b. Under Properties, disable the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option.
c. After using the GPS COM port, Enable the power saving mode to improve battery performance under Modern Standby.

2. Set up the correct COM Port in the application you want to use.
a. Open the USB Serial port in the Device Manager.
b. Under Properties, see the COM Port Hardware ID for the GPS COM port.
c. Select the same COM Port number as displayed in the application.

3. For Dell Latitude Extreme systems, set the baud rate to 38400 on the GPS Setup page in the Dell Rugged Control Center.
