Fixes & Enhancements

Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where the System POST would become stuck at the progress bar displaying 'Initializing Firmware Interfaces...' in certain corner cases.
- Corrected a cosmetic issue where the device name was displayed behind the PCH in Linux OS. Previously, when issuing a 'lspci -v' command, a warning such as 'pcilib: Error reading /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:0c.0/label: Operation not permitted' would appear. Now, the device name will correctly display as 'DeviceName: PCH Root Port'.
- Resolved a cosmetic issue identified in ESXi, which now accurately displays the device number for the uncore Caching/Home Agent (CHA). Previously, symptoms in the hostd.log included 'ESXi error - Skipping interrupt routing entry with bad device number: 176. This is a BIOS bug.
- Resolved the issue where an iSCSI initiator name containing a dash character ('-') could not be created in the iDRAC GUI under Configuration > BIOS Settings > Network Settings > iSCSI Initiator Name. Note that names with dashes are valid according to iSCSI standards.

Enhancements:

- Supported Intel Trust Domain Extension (TDX), In-Field Scan (IFS) features and Optimized Power Mode 2.0 for the 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Family.
Please refer to the following new BIOS SETUP items and related Intel document for details.
- "System Security" Page:
* TDX:
** Intel Trust Domain Extension(TDX)
** TME-MT/TDX Key Spilt to non-zero value
** Disable excluding Mem below 1MB in CMR
** TDX Secure Arbitration Mode Loader(SEAM)
* IFS :
** Intel(R) In-Field Scan
- Supported Precision Time synchronization (PTM) via the 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Family

- Updated the followings:
* Intel processor and memory reference codes to 109.D.34 UPLR1(Unified Post Launch Release 1) OOB.
* Intel processor microcode to version 0x5D1 in the 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Family.
* Intel processor microcode to version 0x3A1 in the Intel Xeon CPU Max Series.
* Intel processor microcode to version 0x240 in the 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors Family.
* Intel Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) BIOS AC Module and SINIT AC Module to version 1.1.A.
* Intel Server Platform Services (SPS) and Manageability Engine (ME) firmware to SPS_E5_6.1.4.047.
* Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) HII settings engine to version 5.00.00.18.
* S160 Software RAID UEFI driver: 7.3.0.0000.
- Improved GPU training management for XE9680. In the event of GPU downtraining, the BIOS will initiate automatic retraining. Should downtraining persist, a warning message will be displayed in both the BIOS POST and LC logs.
- Enhanced SmartNIC / Data Processing Unit (DPU) Boot Sync progress by replacing the number of dots to percentage progress message. DPU Initialization takes several minutes and BIOS needs to wait until it's done during the system boot.
For example, when 10% of the SmartNIC OS Ready timeout value has lapsed
From:
Initializing Data Processing Unit (Do NOT reboot the system)..
To:
Initializing DPU (may take a few minutes, do NOT reset system): 20%

- Added the ISCSI F1/F2 Prompt on Error feature. When the first iSCSI connection stop working, user has to press "F1" to let the server boot to secondary connection. User can disable the prompt error, and boot to secondary without pressing "F1".
The new BIOS Setup item was introduced under Network / ISCSI Device1 sub-menu:
ISCSI F1/F2 Prompt on Error
* Options: Enabled | Disabled
* Default: Enabled
