Fixes & Enhancements

Firmware version 03.76 prevents stuck tape and fixes load/eject errors.

1. Load/Eject and Threading Operation Failures- Prevents failures of LTO media that are marginal due to tapes shorter than manufacturing specified, inverted servo tracks, and faulty CM chips. This release of firmware will properly address the load/eject issue by allowing the suspect media to be properly initialized, written to and read from.

2. Fails Backup/Restore- Addresses conditions where the tape drive fails due to fatal trap, micro code, hard read, and parity errors.

3. Diagnostics and Logging Features- Standardizes how the tape drive's information is returned and allows for key features to be monitored i.e. lifetime media loads, lifetime cleaning operations, lifetime power on hours, etc. This would allow the end user's and tech support to have a better understanding of the drives usage and maintenance.
