Custom Instructions for R174675.tar.gz:

1. Copy the release file to the desktop

2. Open up a terminal and type in "gunzip R174675.tar.gz" where "R174675.tar.gz" is the release

3. Type in "tar -xvf R174675.tar" where "R174675.tar" is the file that was unzipped

4. In the terminal, go to the folder where file was un-tarred.

5. Go to: /unix/packages

6. Ensure that the printer is switched on and plugged in to the system

7. Type in: rpm -ivh print-drivers-linux-glibc2-x86.rpm

8. Type in /usr/local/dell/setup.dellprint

9. Click on the Applications "button" at the bottom left hand corner of the screen

10. Go to System Tools -> Dell Print Drivers

11. If there is no printer icon, click on the Add Printer button

12. Click on the device to be added and click the next button

13. Type in a printer queue name (e.g. Wolverine)

14. Select the printer type and type in a generic description

15. Leave the printer language as the default setting and click the Next button

16. Click the Finish button.

17. A picture of the printer should be created and seen. Right click on it and click on the "Print File" option

18. Select a file and press the "Print File" button

19. Observe printer and printouts.
