Dell Remote Assistant Card II (DRAC II), v. 1.0 (bld_0005), A01

NOTE: This section describes a process of "installing" the OMSASync
Utility program by manually copying the file "OMSASync.exe" to a system.
The OMSASync Utility is also typically installed along with the
installation of DRAC software version 2.3.1 (or greater), so a version
of "OMSASync.exe" may already exist on a system.

1. Log in as "administrator."

2. Download the file to a directory on your hard drive. The file
downloaded is a self extracting executable.

3.Double click on the file icon to run the executable to unzip
OMSASync.exe.

4. Only install OMSASync if the DRAC server agents already exists on the
system.

A simple way to check for the DRAC server agents software is to search the
system for the file "RacConf.exe." If it exists, it will most likely be in
a directory such as:

c:\Program Files\Dell\OpenManage\Drac\server

If "RacConf.exe" exists on the system, then proceed to Step 3.

Otherwise, do not copy "OMSASync.exe" to your system until you install the
DRAC server agents.

5. Copy the unzipped OMSASync.exe to the same directory where you located
RacConf.exe

6. There is no need to reboot the system.
