Format Description:
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
This program creates a diskette to upgrade the firmware of the controllers. You will need a formatted 3 1/2 inch floppy diskette for the following procedure.
1) Download the file to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self extracting executable. 2) Double click on the file to run the executable. 3) Click on the unzip button to extract files to the floppy. 4) To perform the upgrade, reboot to the EFI prompt and change directory to the floppy drive. 5) Run efiflash at the prompt.
It will report existing code level and prompt you to reconfirm before starting the firmware upgrade process. Reboot for the changes to take effect.
