BIOS is a firmware that is embedded on a small memory chip on the computer's system board. It controls the keyboard, monitor, disk drives and other devices. It fixes the issue that occurs in BIOS where the system stops responding when hot swapping a Dell dock that has an external monitor plugged in and the issue where the Dell WD15 dock loses connection when connected instantly after Dell TB16 dock is unplugged.
