Dell Reader 2.0, v.V2.0.0.1036, A01

This is internal instruction for Dell internal users during development phase.

For SBIOS integration, please use CE_DELLBR00_LD_NB_v1.0.3.2.0.zip for Notebook and use CE_DELLBR00_LD_DT_v1.0.3.2.zip for DeskTop. The BTR BIOS contains different vesa tables for DT and NB.

[Note that the steps below are for prototyping purpose only.]
For systems without BIOS integration, please create a bootable thumbdrive using ST_DELLBTR00_CE_512MB_v2.0.0.1002_20090803.img from ST_DELLBTR00_CE_512MB_v2.0.0.1002_20090803.zip with selfimage tool. Backdoor is required as mentioned in the following steps 2-3. These images are available in A00 and not posted in this official release.

Steps
1. Install the program in C:\ or D:\ drive.
2. Create the thumbdrive image using selfimage software and the CE file in the ST_DELLBTR00_CE_512MB_v2.0.0.1002_20090803.zip (NOTE: the reason for creating the image is because we don’t have the BIOS integration on non-targeted platforms)
3. Then create the registry and dummy file (dellbtr.enable) as per instruction
4. Setup and configure the Reader and export the outlook information
5. Shut down the system or hibernate the system
6. Plug in the USB thumbdrive and boot into it (make sure you select the option to boot into USB device from BIOS or Fn+F2)
