Mixed Stacking – N2000 Series with N2128PX-ON
It’s required to use the image N2000Stdv6.5.1.1.stk version of firmware image to form the mixed stack of N2128PX-ON and N2000 Series switches.
Administrators configuring mixed stack with N2000 Series switches and N2128PX-ON MUST follow the instructions documented in the "Upgrading Dell EMC Networking N2000 Series Switches From Version 6.x.x.x to 6.5.1.1". It is strongly recommended to backup current switch configuration before forming mixed stacking.
Dell EMC Networking N2000 Series switches and N2128PX-ON switches can mixed stack with of up to 12 units. Dell EMC Networking N2000 Series switches and N2128PX-ON switches are available with two fixed mini-SAS stack ports.

1) Download the zip file - N2000v6.5.1.1a34.zip
(2) Extract the image file "N2000Stdv6.5.1.1.stk" from the zip file
(3) Install the image to the switch by following the upgrade procedure "Upgrading Dell EMC Networking N2000 Series Switches From Version 6.x.x.x to 6.5.1.1.pdf" extracted from zip file.
