This package contains the Dell system BIOS update for Dell Latitude 5290, 5490 and 5590 systems that runs the Windows operating system. BIOS is a firmware that is embedded on a small memory chip on the computer's system board. It controls the keyboard, monitor, disk drives and other devices. It fixes the issue that occurs in BIOS where the system stops responding when hot swapping a Dell dock that has an external monitor plugged in and the issue where the system does not resume from sleep after you undock it from either a Dell WD15 or Dell TB16 docking station with USB power share enabled.
