2350D/DN Mono Laser Printer
Procedures for flashing Printer to a new firmware.


1) Determine the printer model that you have (2350d or 2350dn).Proceed to unzip the file and it will contain 2 folders. One is for 2350dn(with duplexor and network) and the other is 2350d(duplexor only). Go to the right folder based on the printer model that you have. Before beginning the process,print out your settings page of your printer to check the current firmware.

2) Go to the right model folder & ensure that files with extension (.fls) is present.

3) Choose a flashing application(USBFD) with the correct Operating system you are using. For example : (x32 for 32bit Windows Operating system) or (x64 for 64bit Windows Operating system)

4) Set printer to ready mode. Insert one end of the USB cable into the printer first, Then insert the other end of the cable into the PC. Launch the flashing utility.The utility will show the details of the printer with the box unchecked. Check the box.Browse to the correct folder with the flash file & select update. Wait for utility to finish flashing & wait for printer to go back to ready mode.While flashing,do not interrupt the PC or the printer by powering off the devices.

5) Check the new firmware of the printer by printing out the settings page again.Check firmware under Device information section of the printout. Look for the engine number.It should show a new firmware version which is AL.LB.E302.0 .
