Firmware Update using Dell Update Package (DUP)
---------------------------------------------------

Note: Any Firmware Update using Dell Update Package(DUP) within an operating system will go through the iDRAC staged job update only.

Dell Update Package (Windows):
------------------------------
Download the executable from support.dell.com. This package can be executed from the operating system.

Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Click "Install".
3. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

Dell Update Package (RHEL/SLES/UBUNTU):
--------------------------------
Download the executable from support.dell.com. This package can be executed from the operating system.

Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and run the update by executing "./SAS-RAID_Firmware_TTR5R_LN64_....BIN" from the shell.
2. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Installation
1. Import the Dell public key. (You only need to do this once on your system.)
2. Verify the Dell Update Package by using its signature file, SAS-RAID_Firmware_TTR5R_LN64_....BIN.sign.

Firmware Update using iDRAC

Prerequisites
- Dell update package (Windows)
- iDRAC v4.30.30.30(Base line Version or above)

Procedure
1. Login to iDRAC of the system
2. Then click on Maintenance -> System Update
3. Upload the Dell update package(.EXE) and click apply and reboot.

Firmware Update using LC
----------------------------

Prerequisites
- Dell update package (Windows)
- iDRAC v4.30.30.30(Base line Versoon or above)

Procedure
1. Turn on system and press F10 to enter Lifecycle controller
2. Then click Firmware Update -> Launch Firmware Update
3. Then choose the Dell Update Package repository location and follow the remaining prompts to perform the update
