New release. This application requires monitor firmware updated to the latest version posted on Dell support site. Download the firmware package to update the firmware. Follow by installing DDM application. Do not run DDM while firmware installer is running.
Dell Technologies recommends reviewing this update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations or provides new features that may or may not apply to your environment.
1. Unzip the package. 2. Go to unzipped folder, install DDM by running the DDM_Installer.pkg. 3. Follow the installation flow to complete the installation. 4. After installation, launch DDM from Launchpad. 5. When launching DDM for the first time, the application will request access to Screen Recording and Accessibility privileges. Open System Preferences and follow the on-screen instructions to enable Screen Recording and Accessibility.
Note: If the DDC/CI is not enable, access monitor on-screen-display (OSD) menu, under 'Others' and turn on the DDC/CI. Refer to user guide on the connection between Mac system and monitor.
