Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 32bit format have been designed to run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems. Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 64bit format will only run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems. When selecting a device driver update be sure to select the one that is appropriate for your operating system.
This version of Dell Command Update (DCU) now includes a Command Line Interface. DCU 2.X is upgradable to this version. Dell Command Update requires Microsoft.NET Framework 4.6.1 (or later) to be installed on the system.
Note: Before you proceed, ensure that you are logged in with administrator privileges on the client system on which you want to install the Dell Command Update application.
Installation 1. Double-click the .exe file downloaded from the Dell support site. 2. Click Install. 3. On the Welcome screen, click Next. 4. On the License Agreement screen, select I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then click Next. 5. On the Begin Install screen, click Install. 6. During the installation, you may click Accept to enable collection of information about your use of this product for Dell to improve its products and services. 7.
