Register a package using Wyse Management Suite (WMS)

1. Download the exe file to your system.
2. Extract the package.
3. Copy the exe file (RAW installer file) to C:\Share\ repository\thinClientApps folder.
4. Copy the downloaded exe file to the Wyse Management Suite server.
5. Log in to Wyse Management Suite.
6. Click Portal Admin, and select the Local Repository check box.
7. Click Sync Files .
8. Click Apps and Data after the data is synchronized.The package in displayed in the applications list.
Note: To create a new group, follow the instructions:
9. To create a group in the Wyse Management Suite server, click Groups.
10. Click the Plus sign (+) button, and register your client in the same group.
11. Click the Apps and Data option, and click Thin Client under App Policies.
12. Click Add Policy and update the required details.
Note: Enter the silent installation parameter for .exe file.
13. Click Yes to schedule the policy.
14. Click Jobs, and select Schedule App Policy.
15. Monitor the status in the Jobs page to ensure that the package push is successful.


Registering a package using System Center Configuration Manager 2016 (SCCM 2016)

1. Download the exe file.
2. Copy the exe file to a shared folder.
3. Expand Software Library > Overview > Application management > Packages.
4. Right-click Packages, and click Create Package.
5. Enter the package name, description, manufacturer name, language, and version.
6. Click Next.
7. Browse to the source folder where you have copied the sysprep files.
8. Click Next.
9. Select Standard Program option button as the program type.
10. Enter the required details, and click Browse to navigate to the exe file location.
11. Select the exe file and in the command line provide the parameters.
12. Click Next.
13. Click Next until the window with the close button is displayed.
14. Click Close.
15. The newly created packages are listed in the Application Management under Package. Select the package, click Distribute Content.
16. From the Add drop-down list, select Distribution Point.
17. Select an option to schedule job at a specified time, and click Next.
18. Verify the information that you have provided on the summary page, and click Next.
19. Select the created package, and click Deploy.
20. Click Collection, and browse to the devices list.
21. Select the device, and click Next.
22. From the Add drop-down list, select Distribution Point.
23. Select the available distribution points, and click OK.
24. Click Next to complete the deployment process.
25. Click Close to complete the process.
