Dell OpenManage Enterprise for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (Operations Manager) is a plugin to OpenManage Enterprise (OME) console. This enables the monitoring of the Dell hardware assets discovered in the SystemCenter Operations Manager (SCOM) using OpenManage Enterprise appliance. The Operations Manager plug-in supports the monitoring of the device inventory, health, and alerts for the hardware including Dell Servers, Modular Systems, and Network Switches. Integrate the OpenManage Enterprise appliance with the SCOM console to manage the Dell devices in data center. For more information about SCOM console, see the Microsoft documentation.

Format Description:

To install the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager plugin: Dell OpenManage Enterprise administrators can install the Operations Manager plugin from the Dell OpenManage Enterprise > Application Settings > Console and Plugins page.
To install the Operations Manager plugin from the Console and Plugins page: 1. In the Plugins section, click Install for Operations Manager. The Install and update multiple plugins wizard is displayed. 2. From the Plugins available for install list, select the Operations Manager, and then click Next. 3. View the progress of the plug-in that you selected to install under the Download section, and then click Next on completion. 4. A consent form is displayed under Review license agreement section to inform you about the End User License Agreement. Click Accept, and then click Next to continue. 5. In Review and confirm action option, the following details are displayed in the confirmation window: -Logged in users to Dell OpenManage Enterprise -In Progress jobs -The scheduled jobs 6. Select the I agree that I have captured a snapshot of the Dell OpenManage Enterprise appliance prior to performing a plugin action. Option to confirm and click Finish.
