Fixes & Enhancements
Supports new ThinOS 9.1 and Dell Hybrid Client devices Group Configurations. For more information, see Dell Hybrid Client and ThinOS 9.1 release notes.
New configurations in ThinOS 9.1:
- Added Citrix Virtual Channel Settings back to the ThinOS policy settings or Admin Policy Tool to be compatible with ThinOS 9.1.2101 and previous versions.
- Added special characters support for BIOS admin password.
- Change the domain list to domain name in the text field of DNS Domain.
- Added "e.g." in the text field of the Proxy Application List.

- Added option to remove device lock and password prompt on wake up for local user
- Added greater than 9 character check for Grub password

Important Information
Dell Technologies recommends that you update to new Standalone Configuration Config UI Package for DHC 1.x and ThinOS 9.x devices to take the advantages of all the new features.
Use IExplore, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge browser to download the .exe file.
Citrix Virtual Channel Settings that are removed in Wyse Management Suite are added back to the policy settings. The settings are added back to resolve the compatibility issue with ThinOS 9.1.2101 and previous versions.
If you are using Wyse Management Suite 3.3 (on-prem or cloud) to manage your devices running ThinOS firmware earlier than version 9.1.3112, you cannot configure the UC virtual channel settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings from ThinOS 9.x policy settings or Admin Policy Tool. This is because these settings are hidden from the ThinOS policy settings or Admin Policy Tool for ThinOS 9.1.3112 to support the Citrix Workspace app 2104 package.To recover the UC virtual channel settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings, you must deploy the Wyse Management Suite Configuration UI. This package enables you to manage the virtual channel settings with limitations. For information about the UC virtual channel settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels limitations, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at www.dell.com/support.
To restore the UC Virtual Channel Settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings for devices running ThinOS 9.1.2101 or earlier versions with Wyse Management Suite 3.3 (on-prem or cloud), do the following:
1. As a Wyse Management Suite administrator, download and deploy the new configuration UI 1.5.181 to on-prem server. The Wyse Management Suite cloud is updated with the new configuration UI for Wyse Management Suite cloud users.
2. Verify if the settings are restored. To verify, go to Advanced tab > Session settings > Citrix Session settings > UC Virtual Channel settings, and Other Citrix Virtual Channel settings.
3. Perform one of the following actions:
- Schedule a device reboot in the group. This action allows the thin client to recover the settings.
- If the device reboot is not preferred, you can reset the group policy in Advanced > Session Settings > Citrix Session Settings > UC Virtual Channel Settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings, and publish the policy change in the ThinOS group. This action allows the thin client to recover the settings.
4. Verify the device with ThinOS 9.1 firmware to ensure that the device does not apply the UC Virtual Channel Settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings from ThinOS 9.1.3112 to be in sync with the Wyse Management Suite group settings.
Notes:
- If you do not follow the above steps, some UC virtual channels or Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings, such as Cisco, Zoom and HID fingerprint reader, are disabled in the thin client.
- In ThinOS 9.1.3112, all UC or other virtual channels are enabled by default and the earlier settings are ignored from the Wyse Management Suite policy.
- If you restore the UC virtual channels or Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings before upgrading to ThinOS 9.1.3112, the thin client receives the settings from the Wyse Management Suite policy.

Standard Instructions to Upload and Apply Config UI package:
For On-Premise Server:
1. Download the latest Config UI package.
2. Log in to Wyse Management Suite as a Global Administrator.
3. Go to Portal Administration > System > Setup > Configuration UI Package.
4. Click Browse and select the latest Configuration UI package.
The new Configuration UI package is applied to Wyse Management Suite Server.
or
when Dell Hybrid Client device has higher version of Configuration UI package compare to WMS Server.
1. Click Devices tab, select the Dell Hybrid Client device(which has higher version of Configuration UI package) and go to Device Details page.
2. Click More Actions and select Pull Configuration UI Package option.
3. In the Alert Message - You are about to send a PullConfigUIPackage command to the device. Do you wish to Proceed? >> click Send Command.
Then the new Configuration UI package from Dell Hybrid Client device is applied to WMS Server.
For Public Cloud Tenants/Customers, Configuration UI Package is upgraded by Dell Technologies.
Note: After uploading the Config UI build v1.5.181 on On-Prem server, please restart the WMS Tomcat Service
