Informations importantes
Mise à jour du BIOS sous Windows
Remarque 1 : Veillez à suspendre le chiffrement BitLocker avant de mettre à jour le BIOS d’un système sur lequel BitLocker est activé. Si BitLocker n’est pas activé sur votre système, vous pouvez ignorer cette étape.
Remarque 2 : Ne mettez pas le système hors tension, et n’interrompez pas le processus de mise à jour du BIOS.
Téléchargement et installation
1. Cliquez sur Download File pour télécharger le fichier.
2. Cliquez sur Save pour enregistrer le fichier sur votre disque dur.
3. Accédez à l’emplacement où vous avez téléchargé le fichier, puis double-cliquez sur ce dernier.
Le système redémarre automatiquement et met à jour le BIOS au niveau de l’écran de démarrage. Une fois la mise à jour du BIOS effectuée, le système redémarre de nouveau.
Mise à jour du BIOS à partir du menu de démarrage du BIOS (quel que soit le système d’exploitation)

Installation
1. Copiez le fichier téléchargé sur une clé USB. Il n’est pas nécessaire que la clé USB soit un appareil de démarrage.
2. Insérez la clé USB dans un port USB.
3. Mettez le système sous tension.
4. Lorsque le logo DELL apparaît à l’écran, appuyez sur la touche F12 pour accéder au menu de démarrage ponctuel.
5. Sélectionnez BIOS Update dans la section.
6. Cliquez sur Flash from file pour parcourir la clé USB et localiser le fichier téléchargé.
7. Sélectionnez le fichier, puis cliquez sur Submit.
8. Vérifiez les informations du BIOS du système existant et les informations de mise à jour du BIOS.
9. Cliquez sur Update BIOS.
10. Vérifiez le message d’avertissement, puis cliquez sur Confirm Update BIOS pour procéder à la mise à jour.
Le système redémarre et affiche une barre de progression lorsque le logo Dell apparaît à l’écran. Le système redémarre encore une fois lorsque la mise à jour est terminée.

Updating the BIOS from Windows
Note 1: Before updating the BIOS, ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption on a BitLocker-enabled system. If BitLocker is not enabled on your system, you can ignore this step. Note 2: Do not turn off power or interrupt the BIOS update process during the update.
Note 3: Your system requires a restart after installing the BIOS. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.
Download and Installation
1. Click Download File.
2. Click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
3. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file.
4. Double-click the new file.
5. The system restarts automatically and updates the BIOS at the system startup screen. After the BIOS update is complete, system restarts again.
Updating the BIOS from BIOS Boot Menu (independent of operating system)

Installation
1. Copy the downloaded file to a USB drive. You do not need a bootable USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive into any USB port.
3. Power on the system.
4. At the DELL logo screen, press F12 to access the one-time boot menu.
5. Select BIOS Flash Update in the Other Options section.
6. Click the ... button to browse the USB drive to locate the downloaded file.
7. Select the file and click OK.
8. Verify the existing system BIOS information and the BIOS update information.
9. Click Begin Flash Update.
10. Review the Warning message and click Yes to proceed with the update.
The system restarts and displays a Flash Progress bar at the Dell logo screen. The system restarts again when the Flash update is complete.
