Arquivo executável de atualização do BIOS para Windows/DOS

Download
1. Clique em Fazer download para fazer download do arquivo.
2. Quando a janela Download de arquivo for exibida, clique em Salvar para salvar o arquivo no disco rígido.

Execute o utilitário de atualização do BIOS no ambiente Windows
1. Navegue até o local em que você salvou o download e clique duas vezes no arquivo novo.
2. Depois que a atualização do BIOS for finalizada, o sistema será reinicializado automaticamente para que a ação entre em vigor.

Execute o utilitário de atualização do BIOS no ambiente DOS (para usuários de sistemas diferentes do Windows)
1. Copie o arquivo de que foi feito download para uma chave USB inicializável do DOS.
2. Ligue o sistema, pressione a tecla F12, selecione Dispositivo de armazenamento USB e inicialize o comando do DOS.
3. Execute o arquivo digitando o nome do arquivo copiado em que o arquivo executável estiver localizado.
4. Depois que a atualização do BIOS for finalizada, o sistema será reinicializado automaticamente para que a ação entre em vigor.

Nota 1: será preciso fornecer uma chave USB inicializável do DOS. Este arquivo executável não cria os arquivos de sistema DOS.

Updating the BIOS from Windows

Note 1: Before updating the BIOS, ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption on a BitLocker-enabled system. If BitLocker is not enabled on your system, you can ignore this step. For information about how to disable BitLocker, see How to Enable or Disable BitLocker with TPM in Windows at support.dell.com.
Note 2: Do not turn off power or interrupt the BIOS update process during the update.
Note 3: Your system requires a restart after installing the BIOS. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.

Download and Installation
1. Click Download File.
2. Click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
3. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file.
4. Double-click the new file.
5. The system restarts automatically and updates the BIOS at the system startup screen. After the BIOS update is complete, system restarts again.

Updating the BIOS from DOS (Non-Windows users)

Note 1: Before updating the BIOS, ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption on a BitLocker-enabled system. If BitLocker is not enabled on your system, you can ignore this step. Installation
Note: You must provide a bootable USB drive. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.
1. Copy the downloaded file to a bootable USB drive.
2. Power on the system and then Press the F12 key.
3. Select USB Storage Device and boot to the DOS prompt.
4. Run the file by typing following command. For example:
A:\ Precision_5530_X.Y.Z.exe
Note: Precision_5530 is an example. You can change the product and model number based on the supported platform.

Where A is the drive letter of the USB device where the executable file is located and Precision_5530_X.Y.Z.exe is the name of the downloaded file.
The system restarts automatically and updates the BIOS at the system startup screen. After the BIOS update is complete, system restarts again.
