This package contains the Dell System BIOS update and is supported on Dell Vostro 3670 and 3070 systems that run Windows operating systems. The package contains update for Intel ME Firmware to address security advisories INTEL-SA-00142 (CVE-2018-3659), INTEL-SA-00125 (CVE-2018-3655), Intel-SA-00141 (CVE-2018-3657, CVE-2018-3658 and CVE-2018-3616) and Intel-SA-00131 (CVE-2018-3643 and CVE-2018-3644). - Fixed the TPM configuration on a TPM startup error during S3 resume.
- Fixed a potential issue where system stops responding when an incorrectly formatted password is entered at the BIOS Security Manager (BIOS pre-boot password) prompt.
- Fixed a potential issue with binary image measurement using the Linux UEFI shim boot loader.
- Fixed system incorrect behavior after loading default with Legacy enabled.
- Fixed audio output pop-noise during loading Windows.
- Fixed an issue that the system may misbehave occasionally when Bluetooth is disabled via BIOS Setup.
- Fixed an issue that missing options of "Wake on LAN/WLAN" in BIOS setup
- Fixed the issue where system fails to boot when the HDD protection application is installed and HDD protection is enabled in BIOS.
Note: This fix is applicable only if you have ordered HDD protection along with your system.

Download
1. Click Download File, to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Run the BIOS update utility from Windows environment
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Press Yes to confirm the BIOS version you want to update and start BIOS Update process.
3. After BIOS update finishes, press Yes and then system will shut down. Power on the system for the update to take effect.
4. If only updating BIOS, after BIOS update finishes, press Yes and then system will restart automatically for the update to take effect.

Note 1: Ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption before updating BIOS on a BitLocker-enabled system. If you do not enable BitLocker on your system you can ignore this step.
Note 2: Do not turn off power or interrupt BIOS update process during the update.
