- After you install this package, the detailed driver version that is displayed in the Device Manager is as follows:
- Intel 8265 and 8260 Bluetooth driver: 21.10.1.1
- Intel 7265, 3165, 7260, and 3170 Bluetooth driver: 20.100.5.1
- This driver supports the previous models of Intel 7260 and 3160 Bluetooth cards.
- Bluetooth drivers take no more than 3 minutes to be installed on your system. You can install the updates in the background while using the system.

Note: Your system requires a restart after installing the driver. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.
Download
1. Click Download File.
2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read the information in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites that are identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
Note: Your system requires a restart after installing the driver. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.
