This package contains the SK Hynix BC501 solid state drive firmware update. Storage firmware is a microcode that is embedded on storage devices such as hard drives or solid state drives. The firmware manages the functionality of the devices.

Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility
Note 1: It is recommended to back up the data in the computer and close all open applications. It is also recommended that you connect the power cable to the computer and disconnect all external storage devices.
Note 2: SSD firmware updates require a restart to complete the update.
Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the download is complete, unzip the file.
The file explorer open pointing to the directory that contains the downloaded file.
Upgrade Procedure
1. Close all applications and save your work before the firmware upgrade process.
2. Go to the location where you have downloaded the package and double-click the file to start the upgrade process.
