When you try to use the user interface (UI) of your Web browser to assign a volume quota to a domain user in a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 domain, you may receive the following error message:
The error: domainname\domainuser cannot be added because you don’t have the correct permissions to add this user, the user name is in the wrong format, or the user does not exist. Make sure the user name is in one of the following formats: domain name\user or user@domain name.
Note: Directory quotas are not affected by this problem.
