Executable files that begin with B (i.e. BWS99988.exe) are ‘Packaged’ self-extracting archives that will create a bootable diskette when run under Windows. Before executing this file, please be sure that you have a blank diskette.
Usage:
-Download the file to your local hard drive.
-Run the file. (double-click on the file to extract the utility to the diskette.)
-Follow the onscreen instructions to create a FlashBIOS diskette.
-Shut down your computer and restart with the FlashBIOS diskette created above in diskette drive A:.
-Follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade your BIOS.
-When your system restarts, remove the diskette.
-The FlashBIOS upgrade is complete. BIOS upgrade process.
Executable files that do NOT begin with B (i.e. WS999A88.exe) are ‘non-packaged’ FlashBIOS programs that require being run under DOS.
Usage:
-Download the file to a bootable DOS-diskette.
-Shut down your computer and restart with the bootable DOS-diskette in diskette drive A:.
-Once the system has booted to that diskette, run the FLASHBIOS program (i.e. WS999A88), and follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade your BIOS.
-When your system restarts, remove the diskette.
-The FlashBIOS upgrade is complete. BIOS upgrade process.
