Installation Instructions

Driver Package
The driver package is a compressed tar file.
1) To extract the components within the tar file, un-tar the files:
tar -xvzf R294661-mpt2sas-07.00.01.00-1.tar.gz
2) Extracted files should contain the following:
driver rpm kmod-mpt2sas-07.00.01.00_rhel6.0-1.x86_64.rpm
source rpm mpt2sas-07.00.01.00_rhel6.0-1.src.rpm

Adding or Updating the Driver on a System.
1) Install the Driver package. Use this command
2) rpm -Uvh kmod-mpt2sas-07.00.01.00_rhel6.0-1x86_64.rpm
3) Verify the driver has been loaded with this system command:
modinfo mpt2sas
