Find your service tag or product ID

To provide all contact options, we need your product identifier (service tag, serial number, product ID, etc). We can help you find it.
About product identifiers
We use product identifiers to provide technical specs and warranty, and all available contact options.
 
Service Tag (ST) is a seven-digit alphanumeric code.
Express Service Code (EX) is a 10- or 11-digit, numeric version of a Service Tag.
 
 
NOTE: Dell accessories such as keyboard, mouse, headset, external hard drive, do not have a Service Tag or Express Service Code. Identify these devices using "Choose my model" and selecting the model of your product.

Laptop
Label is located on the bottom panel. Some laptops such as the Dell XPS and Precision mobile workstations have a flap covering the label. Learn more.
Desktops and All-in-One
Label is located on the top panel, side panel or back panel. Learn more.
Tablet
Label is located on the bottom panel of the tablet. On some devices, the label is located on the back cover or bottom-right of the tablet back cover. Learn more.
Thin Client
Label is located on the back panel/cover of the device. The label is on a pull tab on the back panel of legacy Wyse devices. Learn more.
Printer
Label is located on the back panel, varying by printer type. Refer to the user manual of the Dell printer. Learn more.
Docking Station
Label is located on the bottom panel. Learn more.
Monitor
Label is located on the back panel. Learn more.
Projector
Label is located on the bottom panel. Learn more.
