ECS: GeoDrive: (Access Denied) File Open Error

Symptoms

Files refuse to archive generating errors similar to below when attempted:

"file open errors" on folders (Warning - access denied - File open error...).

Cause

By design GeoDrive will not archive certain files.

Resolution

GeoDrive will not archive the following files:

"desktop.ini"
"folder.jpg"
"folder.gif"
"thumbs.db"
"autorun.inf"
"autorun.inf.bat"
"autorun.inf.cmd"
"autorun.inf.exe"
"autorun.inf.com"
"autorun.inf.pif"
"autorun.inf.lnk"

It will also exclude all files with the SYSTEM attribute set but this can be changed in Options, see the GeoDrive admin guide.
