Symptoms
To configure the enable password, use the following commands.

Example
Assume that we want to configure the enable password as "password123".
Note: Use more complicated, hard to guess credentials to secure the switch.

You can verify this by looking at the current running configuration:
console# show running-config | include enable
enable password a3945504d807c21094969da1a54ee6e2 encrypted
