Symptoms
Error message: ESNP0FYE EMC SNAP API - ERROR FREEING TARGET DEVICE A SnapVX terminate (UNLINK) job failed with the above error message with API error 17xxxx no links available ;
Cause
When multiple remote terminate requests are issued, with different RDF hoplists, the snap API issues a SYMDEVICE call to the wrong gatekeeper/hoplist. This causes a 17873206 syscall return code indicating no links available.
Resolution
Workaround:
Permanent Fix:
Breaking the TF SnapVX terminate job up into multiple jobs, over RDF group, allowed all to run correctly.

- For Mainframe Enablers 8.4, PTF Sn84076 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Technologies Online Support.
