RecoverPoint: RP4VM Admin CLI consumes too much memory, becomes unusable

Symptoms

The Admin CLI closes abruptly. The installation menu keeps printing like shown in the following image:

When the CLI session ends, the word "Killed" is printed.

 

Cause

The CLI requires more memory than the memory limit.

Resolution

1. The vRPAs should be at least 16 GB RAM and be running 5.3.2.4 or 5.3.3.2 and above.
2. Run the following script on RPAs 1 and 2, followed by a reboot:
