VxRail: vmware-updatemgr Service Does Not Start After vCenter Certificate is Replaced

User tries to run the following commands, the service does not start.

service-control --start --all

service-control --start vmware-updatemgr

vmware-updatemgr

vmware-updatemgr still contained stale vCenter machine SSL certificate information which caused the mismatch issue.

1. Review the vum log: /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log
2. Verify if the log shows the following error message: 
   The remote host certificate has these problems
3. Update certificate information according to VMware article Replacing vCenter Server certificates fails when VMware vCenter Update Manager service is enabled (2150895) , take a vCenter snapshot before updating the certificate. 
4. For vCenter 7.0.x or later:
   cd /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/ 
   Run the python script:
5. refreshCerts-utility.py
6. Start vmware-updatemgr service: 

# service-control --start vmware-updatemgr
