VCF on VxRail: Host was unresponsive With PSOD PCPU Error

Symptoms

Host was unresponsive with PSOD PCPU error.
The host Had to be powered back on to recover.
The VxRail node was unresponsive giving the below error:

NMI IPI: Panic requested by another PCPU. RIPOFF(base):RBP:CS [0x108a82(0x420000800000):0x3ff:0xf48] (Src 0x4, CPU12)
POSD error

Cause

This happens when any Virtual Machine is migrated to an ESXi Host that is overcommitted. Or it can occur if the VM being migrated (vMotion) has a schedule.max setting, which leads to swapping on the ESXi Host.
The resulting corruption can cause different types of crashes including VMkernel PSOD.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, upgrade to ESXi version 7.0 U3j which is in VxRail 7.0.411.

Consider the frequency of the crash on the VxRail node. 
Continue to monitor or plan on the following recommendations from VMware:

Workaround: 
Disable the below value on all virtual machines on the ESXi Host:

# cd /etc/VMware

Backup the config file using the below command: 
# cp config config.bak

Edit the config file :vi config and press i key to enter Insert mode.
Add the line sched.mem.migPreval.enable = "FALSE" at the end of the file and save the file.
