Log Bundle Creation Failure

Attempting to create a log bundle fails with an IndexOutOfBoundsException.

Cause

The LogBundleBuilder attempts to retrieve the serial number from the license file. When no license is applied, the license file returns an empty list, causing an IndexOutOfBoundsException when accessing element 0.

Resolution

Resolution Steps

  1. Add a valid license to the PowerProtect Data Manager installation.
  2. Re‑create the log bundle.

Verify that the log bundle creation succeeds by checking logmgr.log for the absence of the IndexOutOfBoundsException.
