호스트 이름이 동일한 다른 클라이언트가 이미 MCS에 등록되어 있기 때문에 Avamar Client를 등록하지 못합니다. 

이것은 일반적으로 다음과 같은 경우입니다. 서비스 공급업체가 Avamar를 관리하며 최종 사용자의 Avamar Client 호스트 이름을 수정할 수 없습니다. 

사용자가 VM 및 에이전트 기반 클라이언트와 동일한 클라이언트를 백업하려는 경우에도 이러한 현상이 발생합니다.

avagent Error <7481>: Unable to register /domain/clientname with Administrator avamarserver.customer.com:28001'* 115 * nodename cannot be registered because it already exists in another domain' (115) avagent.d Info: Client activation error.


1) PuTTY를 사용하여 Linux 운영 체제 관리 사용자

로 SSH를 통해 Avamar Server에 연결합니다. 2) /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xml의 백업 복제본을 만듭니다. 

cp -p /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xml /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/x-mcserver.xml.YYMMDD
3) VI를 사용하여 mcserver.xml 편집하고 "allow_duplicate"가 포함 된 줄을 검색하십시오.


4) 키 값을 false에서 true로 변경합니다.

5) 변경 사항을 저장하고 파일을
닫습니다. 6) MCS를 재시작하여 새 매개변수가 적용되도록 합니다.  
dpnctl stop mcs
dpnctl start mcs,sched
