VPLEX: The HTML5 GUI prevents a user from using the underscore character for new Initiator Names
Summary: This article talks to an issue in the HTML5 GUI that prevents a user from using the underscore character for new Initiator Name. Even though the underscore character, "_", is a valid character for an Initiator Name this issue only happens in the "Register Initiator Manually" Mask. ...
Symptoms
In the "Register Initiator Manually" mask, In the Provision Storage screen, a user is not able to type the character "_". Even if a user does a copy and paste a name with "_" the "OK" button to confirm stays greyed and cannot be used.
Example of issue under "Provision Storage" and "View By:" with "Initiators" selected, then having clicked on "REGISTER INITIATOR MANUALLY"
Even if you were to copy and paste a name already with the underscore in it, you cannot save the new name, the OK button remains greyed out.
