Symptoms

I monitor esterni non emettono audio tramite barre audio collegate tramite USB

 

Le barre audio e i vivavoce Dell non emettono alcun suono dopo aver collegato il dispositivo all'hub USB su un monitor esterno.

L'audio non viene emesso quando i cavi sono scollegati o si trovano nella porta sbagliata. La barra audio si collega alla porta USB downstream del monitor, che a sua volta si collega al dispositivo o al dock tramite la porta USB upstream. (USB Type-C o Type-A).

Il problema riguarda i seguenti dispositivi Dell:

  • Vivavoce desktop Dell Pro SP3022
  • Barra audio sottile Dell SB521A
  • Barra audio sottile per conferenze Dell SB522A
  • Vivavoce cablato Dell Pro SP325

Questo problema è stato riscontrato sui seguenti monitor Dell:

Cause

Non ci sono dati dal computer alla porta USB downstream del monitor, quando la porta upstream del monitor non è collegata al computer. (USB Type-C o USB Type-B)

Non vi è alcun collegamento tra il computer e la porta USB downstream del monitor per l'uscita audio. (la barra audio o il vivavoce sono collegati alla porta USB downstream del monitor).

Resolution

Queste porte sono tutte specificate nel manuale del monitor reperibile nel: Sito del Supporto Dell

  1. Reinserire ogni collegamento tra la barra audio e il monitor.
  2. Reinserire ogni collegamento tra il monitor e il computer o la docking station.
  3. Accertarsi che i due cavi USB siano collegati correttamente alle porte corrette sul monitor.
Nota: Il cavo downstream viene fornito con la barra audio o il vivavoce. Il cavo upstream è fornito con il monitor. (da USB Type-C a Type-C o da Type-A a Type-B).
