Symptoms

When Dell PowerStore encounters a problem, an error alert is generated to help identify the issue. Cause

Alert ID SYSTEM_LIMITS_VIRTUAL_VOLUMES_PER_APPLIANCE_THRESHOLD_MINOR_EXCEEDED
Alert Text The number of virtual volumes on this appliance has exceeded the usage threshold of %(alert_threshold) percent.
Error Code (0x02600401)
Impact Once the virtual volume limit is reached, no new virtual volumes can be created.
Resolution Solution:
Consider removing virtual volumes or migrating to another appliance to maintain a threshold under %(alert_threshold) percent.
