Isilon: SyncIQ-jobbet mislykkes med "SyncIQ kunne ikke tage et snapshot på kildeklyngen. Fejl ved initialisering af snapshots"

Problem

En SyncIQ-politik mislykkes inden for de første fem minutter efter start med fejl Snapshots initialization error.
 

Symptomer

En SyncIQ-politik mislykkes næsten øjeblikkeligt, og der vises en advarsel, der ligner følgende:

Følgende logges på /var/log/messages på koordinatornoden:

Årsag

Den kilderodmappe, der er defineret i SyncIQ-politikken, er angivet til noget i /ifs/.snapshot. Dette er ikke en understøttet konfiguration.
 

Bekræft problemet.

SyncIQ-politikken har "source root directory" indstillet til en /ifs/.snapshot/-mappesti. F.eks.:

Bemærk: fejlmeddelelsen "Failing snap_create. Non-head file to snapshot." Det er ikke muligt at oprette et øjebliksbillede af et øjebliksbillede, hvorfor politikken mislykkes.
